ME.
Back in January 2017 I took on my first Fan Dance! Not happy with my finishing time I entered myself into summer Fan Dance (Black Edition). 7 days before the event my mum passed away, I didn't feel I could pull out of the event because I had sponsor money for the 100 Peaks pledged if I completed the race. I was happy just to complete it that weekend but I knew I could have pushed myself bit harder. So I entered P COY Fan Dance. I Felt good through out the race and still had a bit left in the legs, but again deep down knew I should have pushed a bit harder. I then entered 2018 winter Fan Dance (Trident). The conditions that weekend were horrendous but all the training I had been doing on the weekends since the summer put me in a good place mentally and physically, pushing myself through that weekend was hard in those conditions! I Kept telling myself Failure is not an option and one thing that stuck with me throughout 2017 was the 100Peaks motto #dontbeshit and I didn’t want to be shit, I kept pushing through and finished 6th overall in the Trident that weekend with some pretty good times on the 3 Stages.
MY PLAN FOR 2018 AND BEYOND.
To be a quicker, fitter and stronger runner/tabber.
Events I’m entering this year:
Summer Fan Dance (Trident)
P COY Fan Dance
Snowdon Marathon
Dragons Back
Ans I'm joinning fellow Black Sheep Tracy Purnell on her '40 at 40' and hoping to do the Brecon Beacons 10 Peaks and couple of others which are still in early stages of planning.
