ME.
I'm 27 years old and used to be fit and healthy. I used to play football regularly and used to enjoy other sports. I injured my knee and never got back my fitness or my shape. I put on a bit of weight and am not currently happy with the way I look and my fitness levels now and I am going to do something about it.
WHAT DO I WANT TO ACHIEVE?
I would like to cycle the London to Brighton bike ride in June and in a good time. I would also like to be able to potentially run a marathon in comfortable time by next year. I would also like to be able to play a full 90 minutes of football without having to have a break or preserve my fitness.
WHAT CHANGES AM I MAKING?
I'm changing my diet and trying to eat less fatty and sugar heavy foods. I've signed up for the London to Brighton bike ride and will start training for that. I have also signed up for martial arts to build on my fitness and flexibility.
MY PLAN FOR 2018 AND BEYOND.
My plan for 2018 is to complete the London to Brighton bike ride in a good time. I would also like to sign up for the London Marathon in 2019 and train for that. The new football season starts in September and I would like to complete a full pre season training programme and get back into playing regularly.
MY PERSONAL PROMISE.
I promise myself that I will achieve a good time in the London to Brighton. I also promise myself that I will keep going until I am happy with my fitness and body shape.
